You know the deal with porn? Porn is fantasy. Porn is performance, it’s entertainment!

That’s why it looks so amazing! Well, to some people. Problem is: it’s not real. People get paid to do it.

When the same actors you see in porn have sex with their partners at home they don’t do the same acts they get paid to do. And you know why? Because they don’t like it. It’s fun to watch, but not fun to do.

I’m sorry if I’m coming off as a patronizing know-it-all. I assure you there will be no porn shaming in this article, none whatsoever, for one simple reason: I also watch porn. I used to work as a trainer to cam girls. So… I used to work in porn, and I had direct access to it daily.

So, no, I’m not against porn. I am however against treating it as anything else but entertainment. Because that’s what it is: the stuff of dreams. Not always good dreams, but sexual, deep, dark, unsung dreams of primal desire and convoluted sexual psychology.

There’s nothing wrong with them. They’re part of us and we should give them a way of expression or they will eat us alive.

But! And there’s a big ‘but’ here. If we try to bring them into the land of the living, they will wreak havoc on ourselves and everyone around.

Because the things that happen in porn are usually not the thing that women enjoy. And here’s why: porn is in its greatest majority made by men for men. What happens there is not something women enjoy, it’s something men enjoy.

And obviously, I don’t speak for all women. But I do speak for most.

Porn looks entertaining but if you reenact it in real life, it’s awful.

And if you watch a lot of porn and don’t have a lot of real-life sexual experience, women know. They always know. Because you will reenact the things that happen in porn with a living human female partner. And she will hate it.

That’s why this article is meant to make light of the sexual practices that men picked up from porn and women don’t enjoy in real life.

I’ll start it off strong:

1. The final act. On her face.

When I started working as a cam girl trainer, I had the opportunity to see everything that happened in the cam girls’ rooms: I could see what they did and could read their conversations. If I wanted, I could reply in their stead. I was like a fly on the wall: a third invisible participant in the interaction.

One of the most common questions cam girls constantly receive will probably surprise you. It sure surprised me, but once I saw it happen several times a day, I knew the culprit: it was porn.
